How to get food safely? Go to Publix, Wegmans, Market Basket, Trader Joe’s, Spouts or any grocery store, buy produce (fruits and veggies for those of you in Rio Linda), meat, milk and wine. Go home, and make an inexpensive dinner for your family.
There are some stores that are so depleted, they’re having to ration pretty much everything, and still they run out. One of my online friends hasn’t been able to buy meat for a week, in spite of checking multiple stores every day during that time.
I fully expect that, when this is over, there will be chicken coops and gardens in just about every yard in my neighborhood.
