No, it’s not. Asking 65+ to self isolate was the right call but the rest could have taken less drastic action like half the # of normal customers. We are going to have a global depression (not recession) in the next two months if this keeps up much longer. How many restaurants, hotels, airlines, retail stores, etc can withstand a 50-100% drop in revenue for a few months? Hint: Not many. And you are talking 10+ million of jobs, and that’s not counting the domino effects (those losing their jobs stop spending, default on debt, stocks collapse to lower than 2009 etc)
