I disagree. Look at what’s happening in Italy. Death toll still climbing. It was business as usual for most of them 7-14 days ago, and it’s gotten much worse.

There are a lot of idiots out there (millennials particularly) who aren’t taking this seriously. There were stories yesterday of packed bars and St Paddy’s Day pub crawls in full swing. There is community spread happening in San Francisco and San Jose. Knowing that, who crams like a sardine into a crowded bar of 200 people? A fool. And there are apparently a lot of them.

84% of Italy's deaths are 70+ with majority over 80. They also are being overwhelmed. Look at Germany, SK and many other countries with significantly lower hospitalization and death rates. What we need to do is have seniors self-isolate and those caring for them. Here is a great article on why different countries have different death rates
