IMNSHO, the longer he waits the more it seems like MAYBE ‘they’ ARE sitting on something.

I think you can take that to the bank. Just about every country in Europe is taking the same measures...grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations open, everything else is closed. Borders once again mean something. Czech Republic wants all non-resident foreigners out, no more allowed in.

I’m going to speculate that they not telling what they know because it would only make matters worse not better. If everyone spends a couple, three weeks at home and it measurably slows the spread—not stops it—it buys everyone time. You know that vaccines and treatments are the highest priority. In Britain, Boris Johnson is asking companies to start making ventilators—Italy is begging for them.

I believe this is much bigger than anything we’ve faced in our collective lifetimes. Two or three weeks of little economic activity will be cheap in comparison if Wuhan is allowed to blossom.

I don’t. If there was “something more” healthy young folks would be dropping like flies. Are they? No.

The economy damage is already done. It is measured in years and not weeks.
