*I can tell you from experience that patients that had not visited China, Italy, or other hotspots weee denied testing for several weeks.*

We have close friends, a husband and wife, who were on a Caribbean cruise in mid-late February for 5 days. There were maybe 300 on the cruise total. These two got sick with bronchitis and pneumonia respectively about a week after their return. This was the very end of February, beginning of March. After a couple days at home, they made doctor appointments. They noted that they were out of the country and had fevers and other CoVid 19 symptoms, but there were no tests for it at that time. The husband got the worst of it, but they both stayed at home and in bed. Doctor diagnosed as pneumonia for him, and bronchitis for her. They both recovered about a week ago Wednesday but stayed home from work an extra day at the doctor’s insistence. We all think they had CoVid 19, but no tests were run on them. They have been in touch with others on the cruise, but so far, they are the only ones to experience these symptoms. They are wondering if they got it from someone on one of the 5 flights they took on this trip.

And now we know those recovering can shed the virus for 18-24 days after!

Seems “herd immunity” was the decision globally for this. Just let it burn through the populations and ‘burn out.’..
