All of this to protect octogenarians with emphysema, long-term AIDS patients and persons with suppressed immune systems due to current cancer treatments and a few other conditions.
The harm to MANY OTHERS, such as restaurant workers, airline workers, those with stocks or 401K ... does not seem to matter.
What I do not understand is that the results from China and South Korea indicate the epidemic WILL NOT hit anything like the initial worst-case projections in the U.S. Therefore, it seems like the financial markets should quit panicking soon.
