Lockdowns
I wonder if the entire country will lock down or would it be just the high populated areas like NYC, Seattle, LA, and San Fran.
South Korea has not lock the entire country down, maybe we still have time not to end up like Italy. It appears all the schools in the US are closing down Monday.
Their should be a full plan in place, soup to nuts, and it looks like that plan does not exist...
I would love to be proven wrong.
I think to avoid total lockdown, we have to get our testing, contact tracing and spot quarantines up to the level of S. Korea, keeping things at a manageable level. But it has to happen fast. Some people who are shut down right now could be helping this effort, even if it means being given a contact list and trying to track people down.
I believe in the ingenuity of people in our country. However, I fear too many of our leaders, especially democrats are waiting to be told what to do rather than thinking for themselves.
One thing that may happen, some fairly serious cases may be recouping at home, possibly even with O2.

I think all the major cities eventually, but it will be rolling lockdowns, here and not there, maybe open a city up, then shut it down again, all to try and manage impact on healthcare systems,

Hard to see how we avoid a total lockdown. We were way too slow in sealing off hot areas, or even in testing people. I just hope we don’t end up with Hillary in the White House because of that.
