Criticizing your failed logic is not a personal attack.
If it were, everybody would have to at least pretend to agree with everybody else.
Your belief that criticizing another person’s logic is a forbidden personal attack requires you to agree, or you lose all credibility.

What deletes a person’s credibility is when they flee to the refuge of false logic such as claiming criticism of ideas is a personal attack.
