I have ham steak in the freezer. Does that count?
There was a ham radio ping list maintained by Denver Ditdat quite a few years back. Looks like he took a break from FR and never returned.
I have a general ticket. I listen mostly for pirates and SKYKING
See if you reach Nellie Ohr.

I could not find any toilet paper at the grocery store this morning, but the Hamms 12 packs were available.
Sure. Just watch the sodium.
I used to be able to get a nightly English newscast from China.
I am sure that is full of great info. Not.
ROFL!! 7200 is the new 14.313. Listening to the idiots on those two frequencies just makes me laugh.
I'd be curious to know if we have mutual acquaintances as I have contacts on 3865 and 3950 also.
I'm in 9-land, near the murder capital of Illinois, Chicago.
If you've ever heard someone sign as being from the Murder Capital of the United States, Chicago Illinois chances are that was me.
KE8LYB here, don’t have a rig set up at our winter home. Probably should look at a handheld.
What do you use to get on? I am getting a 400 xdr. Do you know if it would connect?

I think the fun of SW radio was not so much the content, but that you were listening to a place so far away. It was closest we had to the internet back in the day. Getting skip radio/TV broadcasts was a rare treat that way, too.
Some years back I was on the OMISS net I am #7869
wonder if we ever chatted

I have the 400xdr in my car and yes I can get to the america-link room on it. I also have a ftm100 and hri200 at home set up as a simplex repeater. I also have an ft2x and an ft991a that works for wires-x. Great fun.
Check out websdr.org List of many stations world wide.
Husband has his first two tickets, but doesn’t use it much now.
I’m up for a Echolink conference if someone sets it up
Hmm..Ham radio I might consider getting into that. Does it still have a good following?
