Everyone has their own interpretation of the Bible and even the learned Hebrew and Greek exegetes disagree on almost everything.Just because they differ doesn't mean that many different opinions are true. God intended one true meaning. It's up to us to search for that meaning, and pray for illumination about things we don't understand, not add our own spin.

Choose Faith over Fear.

Build the “house” on the proper material! FAITH in the Lord God, in Jesus’ name.
Prayers UP!!!

ummm what does age have to do with it? I’m protestant and never studied religion. If it was covered in World History in high school, I don’t remember.
To: LibertyWoman
Perhaps you studied American history and learned that virtually all American presidents with the exception of only one (JFK, and one whose "faith" was subject to dispute, Obama) were some kind of protestant, with the majority of those of the first decades being Episcopalian, as was most of the U.S. population before the Civil War. The colonies were largely settled by majority English people in positions of power due to England's world leadership at the time. Hence, the 1816 church directly across the street from the White House boasting of every American president having visited thereit's logical to guess it was Church of England / Episcopalian.
And what do you know it is!
