We recently bought a house in NH and there’s a dairy farm nearby and they are allowed to sell raw milk to anyone. There are little roadside stands all over the place that sell eggs.
My son was laughing at the people bemoaning that they can’t get any milk. That far out in the country, there are plenty of places to get milk and eggs. You just have to learn about them and do it.
Nothing is in short supply where we are in northern VT - plus it’s sugaring season, so everybody has a barrel or two of maple syrup.
I really like the honor system veggie stands all around NH and VT.
If i tried that out on my street both the remaining vegs and the money would be gone in less than a half-hour.
