"Gretchen Carlson: Every intelligent conservative woman laughed at her"
There, I fixed it.
I’m a woman and I didn’t cringe. I applauded the President.
I cringed when O’Donnell kept harping at Trump and wouldn’t let him finish. If you pay attention to his response, it becomes clear that he’s asking her to cut him some slack as she would any other normal human being. Breaking habits take time. Nobody’s perfect (except O’Donnell and her ilk, I suppose).
Of course, the mainstream media won’t ever cut Trump any slack or even try to understand. She’s there to create a narrative that’s always anti-Trump.
Carlson exhibits the typical liberal attitude: She professes to speak for every woman. If you’re a woman but don’t react like she does or agree with her take on something, then you’re an outlier, a deplorable. There’s something wrong with you.
Wrong think versus right think. People like Carlson all believe what they think is right think. Why not just say, “I cringed when ...?” Why is it necessary for her to try to signal that whatever she thinks or believes is what “every woman” should think or believe?
