Other than some Rifftracks and Fathom Events, I avoid theaters. For about a decade at least.
Yes, I’ll wait for the DVD.
There was nothing good playing anyway
I already do avoid movie theatres. And it has nothing to do with coronavirus.
Same.
Haven’t been to a movie theater in years....high prices, bad movies, reserved seats at the box office weirdness. No big loss.
Way ahead of the curve on this one. I don’t need to see a movie right away not to mention there are very few I’d wanna watch anyway. Like the comfort and convenience of my living room. Can’t remember my last theater visit.
I waited for the novelization of "Star Wars". I can wait for the novelization of "Porky's II, the Porkening:.
If they’re in San Fran and seat over 100, they’re shut down through April anyway.
I don’t go to the theaters anyway, so it won’t bother me if they’re shut down. I’ve been social distancing for more than 20 years, so it’s no big deal to me. Been retired since 2003, and don’t go out unless I absolutely have to. I’ve already got the majority of my doctor appointments, and tests out of the way for the year. Had my teeth cleaned this past Tuesday. I meet my friends at the local casino once a month for a buffet lunch, and to play games. We just went a week ago, and are still healthy. My friends had just come back from a tour of South America and the Galapagos Islands. I’ll visit my oldest son in Albany, NY, next weekend, and will visit my youngest son in Indiana sometime this spring. I prefer staying at home, so my lifestyle won’t be changing in the foreseeable future.
Same here, my family hasn’t been in a theater in ages.
Post Rottweilers at entrances
“I prefer staying at home, so my lifestyle wont be changing in the foreseeable future.”
Likewise...it’s my favorite place to be.
Theater in small town near me shut down.
A lack of decent movies has kept us out of the theater. Last year we would go every two weeks. Its been months since there was much worth going to.
That’s what I was going to predict, movies that would have been in theaters will go direct to streaming.
Are they building roads to reroute traffic around them?
I’ve been avoiding movie theaters for years. Not because of viruses — because the movies are crap, the theaters are filthy, and actors are generally loathsome people.
