Yes it comes on quickly. Exponential growth. My issue was the state of Alabama was not testing. Go to South Korea, have cough, trouble breathing, fever .... nope no test. You weren’t in China Wuhan fish market. Must be Flu / strep. Not joking. I know first hand of sick international travelers being refused testing based on guidelines.

not good- just like in our area with lyme disease- they say ‘nope- can’t be, there aren’t any reported cases (This was years ago in our area)- so they wouldn’t even run tests Despite people having bullseye rash- one woman had to really push to get the test done- turned out it was lyme- another nurse assistant got lyme, got tested, test said nope- so doctors denied she had it- she had to send away for a a test- showed her docs- then they tested again and found it (Lyme has lots of tests that don’t catch it)
Now though, there have been so many testing positive that folks that suspect it can at least get tested- but still the tests don’t catch it often-
