The confirmed case-to-death rate is totally meaningless since most cases of any flu go unreported.
The live numbers on SKstill have the death rate at around 0.8:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
It makes NO difference whatsoever if the confirmed death rate is 0/7 or 0.9 as the actual number is small fraction of that.
The only number that matters is how many need an ICU bed/ventilator and do we have enough for everyone who needs one at any given time.
Else it gets ugly, fast.
(don’t have a heart attack, stroke, accident, anaphylactic shock, etc).
“The confirmed cases-to-death rate for the regular flu in this country was almost 10%.”
0.1% not 10%
The “mild” cases of flu are estimated, based on stuff like purchases of OTC meds, phone calls to doctors, etc.
The cases that are too mild to be noticed are not counted - how do you tell if a person never noticed they had the flu due to no symptoms, or never had it at all? You can’t, and those are not counted. There is no comprehensive testing done for it.
On the other hand, in SK due to exhaustive contact tracing, those asymptomatic cases of CV ARE being counted. And the DCR is still 0.8%.
So you have it exactly backwards. And your flu stat was off by a factor of 100.
You should go back and read all the refutations of the flubro denier posts on the previous threads instead of clogging up this one.
