When people were downplaying mortality vis-a-vis China by talking about hygiene, sanitation, smoking, etc. they often forget one of the advantages China has — lots of high-tech medical equipment.
Ventilators, respirators, oxygen mixing doo-hickies.
Stuff they produce and probably have warehoused that saved a high number of the complicated cases.
Yup.
And now what we have is what we have because they’re not going to send us anything else.
Not drugs
not equipment
not anything to fight this.
