Maryland shut down all of its public and private skrewels for 2 weeks (beginning this Monday, IIRC). I don’t agree with doing the entire state when our cases, so far, seem to be only in Central Maryland and Harford County, However, I understand what Hogan did in light of the fact that our testing, so far, is an inadequate abomination.
I’m just multiplying Maryland’s cases by 10 - Same as with China, just different reason.
Agree with Hogan. Going by active cases is meaningless with such a nightmare regarding testing. I bailed out from work over a week ago...not because there were any identified cases in my area, but because there were almost-certainly tons of unidentified cases in my area.
But my work (office environment) is still only talking about sending people home...not doing anything. I guess they’ll wait until testing confirms the obvious - and with no shortage of sick people by that point.
