Given there’s so few test kits available, is it not likely that the figures for COVID19 are understated by using official test numbers?

Some might even say that’s been the strategy.

I’m curious.
What does it take to manufacture a test kit?
Is it something that once the technique is developed and the machines are programmed, they are mass produced?
Or is this craft work?

I distrust strategy as the driver of government actions or inactions - incompetence and bureaucratic arrogance are always the more likely explanations.

You should only test those who are symptomatic. We can’t test 330 million people. And a test is only a snapshot in time. You could be negative one day and positive the next. It also could give those who test negative a false sense of security. People are panicking thanks to our political leadership and the MSM. TDS is driving most of it.

Yes, but it is the morality rate that matters most. And which should be compared to the Flu.

It seems revealing that you cannot even get one offer (real of fake) on Ebay for virus test kit. Ebay did ban facemasks, hand sanitizers.

The Test Kit does not tell you if you have the Virus.

It has to be sent to a Testing Location for analysis of the Sample. It is not the same as a Pregnancy Test.

There is a Test Kit that shows if there are Antibodies fighting an Infection, but it does not specify what that infection might be. That Test also has a very high likelihood of showing a False Positive for a Viral Infection.

I will bet a dollar to a donut that the “average” person believes they can get a Test that immediately tells them if they are infected with Coronavirus.

This whole Zombie Apocalypse is by far the biggest bunch of malarkey that has come down the pike in a long time. I keep expecting Brad Pitt to have a Press Conference wearing a Lab Coat.

Re: Given there’s so few test kits available

I just read on another thread that COVID tests cost more than $1,300 each!

Can anybody else confirm that?
