Has anyone heard whether the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) is going to take place this year in college basketball? This could be an amazing opportunity for the NIT--getting the 20 or 30 (I'm not sure of the number) BEST teams in college basketball, and it would be a warning shot to all the sports establishment. We can still have a 2019-2020 national championship.
Bad idea. And no one cares about the Nobodys Interested Tournament anyway.

NIT was canceled
Love the NIT.
Seen many good NIT games. My alma mater (the University of Minnesota) won it 5 years ago.
I wouldn’t bet on it. The chickenshits are getting their way because they must damage Trump, ya know?
Why don’t they just postpone the NCAA rather than canceling altogether?
I like it......but some schools have individually said they would not play....
When you googled it, what did you learn?

Assuming we survive, (and I think most of us will0 we’ll remember the spring of ‘20 as the spring of no sports.
Yeah...thats not going to happen.
I am laughing to myself...do they even have to announce its cancelled, because everyone assumes it already is.
Because it rolls into the nba playoffs and collegiate spring sports.
Basically nationwide everything’s been canceled.
The spring of no sports. At least we have political commercials to watch.
Its off. All college sports cancelled.
It just took me back to this post.
