This is perhaps the greatest one in recent memory. ..

It stopped Texas from a national title. ..
Fast forward to the last play. ...brilliant!
It seems to me that simple logic dictates that we want to knock this thing out as quickly as possible, in order to minimize the amount of time that daily life is affected. Well, the best way to do that is to take whatever measures are necessary to minimize its early spread, and let it burn itself out quicker within a smaller affected population. The aaah, its just the flu attitude, if translated into policy, would ensure that the damage would go on for many, many months at best.
Weird. I thought only gatherings of more than 250 people were being discouraged. Doesn’t that exempt the XFL? :-)
You think Italy is in on this conspiracy since they basically shut down their entire country?
Track depends mainly on the live gate
NASCAR lives on sponsors and TV
Purse $$$ comes from NASCAR
NASCAR, through a subsidiary, International Speedway Corp, owns a dozen of the tracks on the Cup series schedule
Homestead is owned by ISC while Atlanta is not.
I did NOT say this is a conspiracy but YES I believe this is being entirely overblown way overblown!!!
no NBA
no MLB
no NHL
no MLS
no March Madness
no College World Series
Nascar without fans
WWE without an audience
Pga without fans and The Masters might be on hold
No Indian Wells Tennis Tournament
That’s where we are at
update: PGA is on hold till The Masters as of 9 hours ago.
Another update: The ATP Tour has postponed all play for six weeks because of “escalating health and safety issues” arising from the coronavirus outbreak. The WTA is also off for five weeks.
Sports are usually an escape, but now we must settle into a life without them.
Hillarious
Masters to be rescheduled later in year.
