Thanks again - When I see the lines there (in NYC), I can’t help but think of the Jews in Europe in the 1930s upon hearing the doomsday predictions regarding Hitler (I’m sure virtually all of them heard it long before the mass killings started). Their response (at least 90% of them) had to be something like: “It’s just talk, bro”.
My grandfather didnt believe a Hitler would be that bad. He heard the stories but couldnt believe anything bad would happen to him. He owned a factory and stores. He wasnt very religious. He was a strong part of the German economy. But they pulled him out of the home by the SS and threw him into Buchenwald anyway.
