Just found out yesterday there is a case in Pike County, PA where we live. I find it counter productive to insist that due to HIPAA we aren’t allowed any info about that patient’s movements in our county so we might be able to avoid exposure. I know the location of the quarantine area around New Rochelle and the profession and religion of the primary patient there, and know that some of our national legislators where exposed at specific events and are self quarantining, but at some point relaxing the HIPAA stuff slightly might be a good thing. I also don’t understand why CBC is STILL insisting on confirming every blessed test in the USA.

Not at all. Italy has socialized medicine, which is a cost center for the government. It’s funded only enough to just-get-by during regular times.
We have a for-profit healthcare system. CA alone has more radiology equipment than Canada.

There are plenty of things to attack Canadian HC on which I often do. What you posted was pointless.
Aware of the differences but if you believe your local hospitals will not be overwhelmed because they have more resources, IMHO, you need to catch up to that potential.
