And?
I can’t help that I have had head trauma. It causes more problems that just depression. Sudden outbursts of anger and bouts of delusional thinking round out the smorgasbord of mental health issues. I’m 52 and will probably be full into dementia by the time I’m able to retire.
So forgive me for not being a hero.

God forbid you ever have a head injury that you live with the rest of your life.
And then there were men like Richard Wurmbrand, who would not bow to Hilter and the Commies , and spent 14 years in prison, 3 of which were in solitary without sunlight. And after being ransomed did ministry from the US for decades, and died at 93(!).

I am sorry but I had no idea how severe your condition was (you only mention an unusually severe bout of depression, not head trauma and ongoing issues) and my reference to Richard Wurmbrand was not meant to belittle such a condition, but was addressing the seclusion aspect, and that despite this the man lived to a ripe old age, by the grace of God.
And I certainly did not speak as one who presumed perfection, which I am far far far from. But may all find grace and peace thru Jesus the Lord.
