At Costco yesterday and I saw folks buying huge bags of flour. They limited everyone to 2.
So fifty pounds of flour. I saw several people with bags in their carts.
No one touched any yeast.
Their bread is going to suck.
Yep...local Costco limiting purchases to 2 of each item.
Some tried to get around that by having dad come through, then mom, then the kid, etc.
Mgr put a stop to that and amended to apply to families. One dude didn't like that and got a bit chippy. He calmed down when the police showed up.
Matzah?
Biscuits. Tortillas, English muffins. ...
AND what are they going to do about weevils and storage? I bet they do not have a clue and in 3 months it will not even be usable.
Yes, flour looked like it had been dropped on the floor and dragged to the register. What was left looked like monkeys had tossed around.
Why flour? I don't get it.
I make a lot of flatbreads.
They can make a lot of cookies though.
50lbs of flour would make a LOT of cookies.
Hope they bought sugar or those cookies will suck.
