TP, isopropyl alcohol and paper towels seem to be very popular. Fortunately I keep a fair supply on hand (old fart syndrome - can't stand to run out of stuff like that). My wife bought 7 lb of chicken breasts yesterday (on sale) I asked her what the heck were we going to do with that much chicken - she said freeze it. I countered with what happens if the power goes out? She asked why would a virus cause the power go out. I answered that power plants don't run themselves. If enough people get sick or stay home because of fear of sickness then the power plants are going to shut down. Your typical nuclear plant requires several hundred people to keep it running. A typical coal plant requires 100 tons or more of coal an hour - supply chain - miners, rail operators and of course plant operators. Left her speechless (for once :-).

BTW I'm not a prepper, but I do have an adequate supply of ammo.

I bought several chuck roasts on sale a few weeks ago.

Along with several pounds of carrots, celery and potatoes.

I turned all of that into 12 Qts of pressure canned beef stew.

I also tossed a couple of roasts in the freezer. Praying the power stays on.

I think the ChiComs have kept power on, during this breakout, so, hopefully we can, too.
