Earlier today I asked about the story that was swirling around the web about Google denying what President Trump said yesterday. About 3 hours ago Google Communications posted a clarification in the form of a 6 tweet thread:

I'm pretty sure the plan is to track the virus down to the neighborhood level, and all known associates and contacts.
This can be followed by enforced, rifle-targeted quarantine.
It should work to stop the virus, but is a threat to our Constitutional rights. (See my new tagline).
