I remain a believer that this virus originated from a Chinese laboratory and it was accidentally released through some sort of negligence or theft of a lab animal. This virus was developmental and the Chinese had no idea how it would react in a “ real world” situation. That is why a country that historically has barely blinked an eye or shed a tear at killing its own people all of a sudden put their entire economy at risk trying to stop this in its tracks.
Luckily for the Chinese and the rest of us, once out in real world conditions, this strain is nowhere near as lethal as it probably was intended to be.
