So the Golden State Warriors will be playing at an empty arena for their home games? Baseball suppose to open on March 26. So as of this moment the Seattle Mariners and SF Giants will need to find alternative sites or play in a empty stadiums.

In Berlin people have to enter and leave at the back of the bus so the driver does not get coronavirus.

So we can expect the large homeless encampments to be moved or broken up...

1000 people limit - did they go by the size of the average homeless camp? I think they just pull these numbers out of their arses.

So... are they going to shut down the petri dishes that are BART and Seattle Light Rail? How about the Sounder commuter train? Buses? Ferries?

Babylon Bee should make an article with this title and add but pooping in the street is still ok, officials declare.

And to think of the various diseases spreading due to homeless , but we aren’t supposed to talk about that. It seems crazy that mayor of SF was declaring public health emergency due to Corona virus, but has nothing to say about the ongoing health threats from streets being full of feces.
To: C19fan
But people can still throw their needles on the ground and poop on the sidewalk, right?

I keep thinking about the large homeless/Addict populations in LA, San Fran, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver BC. The virus establishes itself in those populations, they’re not self isolating or going to hospitals. You have a contamination pool hard to deal with.

The Warriors could easily go back to Oakland. But they have no fans left so it doesn’t really matter.
To: C19fan
Banning people from crapping in the street would seem like a good public health measure.

Seriously. If you are exposed to 250-1000 people you aren't going to be that much more exposed with 40,000. An effective number would be much, much smaller.

There go my Joe Bonamassa tickets for March 20th at the Paramount Theater in downtown Seattle. Hopefully Ticketmaster will be sending out refunds - $150 per seat and we bought the cheap ones.

The Mayor of Austin canceled SXSW and those people are NOT getting refunds.
