I am sure someone is working on it.

But I cannot imagine the manufacturing capabilities can be “spun up” in short order.

We need to start manufacturing ventilating machines in the USA now. Wonder if we can use 3d printing....

This needs to be repeated. We don't need the $250K high tech computerized units that can treat anyone from neonatal to geriatric, with fancy touch screens, wi-fi and remote monitoring. We need 10's of thousands of basic adult low tech ventilators that can be made very quickly.
