A Florida woman stepped forward to claim a Powerball jackpot from January worth $369.9 million, Florida Lottery officials announced Tuesday in a news release.
She will know how to get the most out of her money, too. According to Sheryll Goederts profile on LinkedIn, she is an accountant with offices in Ocala and Dunnellon.
Goedert chose to receive the winning amount in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $276,558,034.09, according to the Florida Lottery. Thats before taxes.
The winning ticket was a Quick Pick, purchased at a 7-Eleven store in Bonita Springs. The retailer will receive a $100,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket, the Florida Lottery said.
Goedert, 61, of Ocala, who Florida Lottery officials said is the managing member of Vacation Life LLC, claimed the winning ticket from the Jan. 29 drawing.

It is false advertising.
Here in MA you scratch a million dollar winner...NOPE
It’s 650 before taxes.
Oh you get the mil if you take the 20 year payout...but after inflation after all those years.
yea sure...
Frigging scam the lottery should be tax free and upfront with the payout...gov already makes millions off of it without penalizing the winners.
SCAM
Now for her own good she should go invisible, change her name and relocate somewhere far away.
Sell your house ASAP so that no thieving swine can “slip and fall” on your property and sue you for it.
Most if not all of the lottery games like “Pick 3”, “Pick 4” etc were 1st started by the mafia and/or other mobs that would give neighborhoods the opportunity to spend .50 to make $10.00 or whatever. The government came in, made it illegal for private citizens to run these and here we are.
