Buckeye can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the last time Pittsburgh elected any Republican to office was back when Herbert Hoover was president.

And, yes, it would be "racist" to ask for the demographics of this neighborhood.

Yes, Pittsburgh has not had an elected Republican hold city office since 1934. The friends I had living there in the 80’s were Italian. The current residents are...…………………...not Italian.
