Whereas old people or elderly brings the image of great-grandma rocking on the front porch of the ‘old folks’ home, or covers up to the chin in bed dreading the big bad wolf while little Red Riding Hood is out at the rodeo.
So very true. What I find interesting is to look back at photos of my grandmother in her 60s, then my mother, and look at how those now present themselves in their 60s. Quite a difference.
