Per CDC?

Is this just another CDC *glitch*?

You could make blueberry jam.

I use Pomana’s Universal pectin which allows you to make BIG batches and low sugar jam.

If you want, I can send you the recipe, which is very simple.

I agree about what is the true goal here ?
Overseas planes are landing here with infected ready to collapse our hospitals while
Spain follow Israel lead and other countries .
Why give up and then spin poorly to our faces.
They are killing off the elderly with their inaction such as the latest
press conference .
I wish we had contacts overseas in one of the smart prepared locations to flee to.

But we certainly don’t know now.

Any of it.

Including the warmth.

We don’t live in unairconditioned buildings any longer.

We shop in them.

We don’t work in them.

We’ll see if the temp has anything to do with this virus.

I suspect it’s more a question of circulating levels of D3 that shut the flu down in the summer. There are myriad papers linking D3 levels to flu susceptibility.

I think Trump has been one of our better Presidents, I am so glad I voted for him. However, unless the trajectory changes, he will have failed this nation like no other. If this goes south, I will never forgive him for not stopping the flights, the basic man off the street knew this 45 days ago. These coming deaths are on his hands.

While that is true, who are we going to put in office?

Who else is there to vote for that isn't going to destroy our country?

I think he blew it, too, but I just don't see any alternative to voting for him.

Does “end of year” mean until summer, or until Dec31st?

I don’t think their plan is criminal or negligent.

Often times the option that has the most effective outcome is to let things happen. Who knows,You might get lucky.

But the focus on the stock market and rushing for “stimulus” two weeks into this just sounds like a herd running for the trough.

But I honestly believe that they knew very early what this was, where it came from, and they know there is nothing they can do about it.

If I were them I would be pulling out the plans to suppress unrest in our cities.

When we see Army reserve groups getting called up, we will know the shit is coming.

This may be the reason for undertesting.

I suggested this a few days ago.

IMHO, now, I’m certain this is the beginning of war with China.

Hope to be wrong.

We will be fighting the virus (and subsequent actions) with no medical supplies. Plus a country full of sappers at every university.

AC may be a factor. The cold outdoor market in Wuhan was probably a bigger factor. Italy has them too, and the church and outdoor markets in S. Korea can explain a lot of spread there.

However, the general rule for viruses is they do well in cold weather but also dry weather. AC environments may be suitably cool and dry. The cutoff is 50% humidity. I keep an open mind on all of these factors along with the response, both from the government and from the people changing their habits. Those can outsmart the virus.

Who is our poster here with a daughter at Smith?

That’s me.

My daughter called freaking out about having to move all of her stuff out of her room in her house. She has a plane ticket back home to Atlanta on Friday, and this doesn’t give her much time.

I told her to see if storage in basement is going to be available (haven’t heard back yet) and if not, make a list of stuff that she will have to leave, and to just leave it in her room. I will replace everything.

Since I have health issues with this virus and live alone, she will stay with her sister when she returns. The are both young and healthy.

SARs ran like mad in HK and Singapore because they’re air conditioned societies.

It will likely be no different here with this virus.
