It certainly hasn't helped that there's been no clear messages from our government regarding people's safety and our ability to go to work. Having no examples of our national health department's ability to get ahead of this, we have no reason to believe that it will be under control in the coming weeks ahead.

Well, at least when we look back on this bull***, we can say one positive thing happened from all of this.
A silver lining.

No grunge noise?
Excellent!!
Gee that’s a shame.
Why is this band so popular? They had a few absolutely depressing hits in the 90s. Eddie Vetter is dispicable.
I think they should stay home in Seattle and attend all of the soccer games, and start hanging out under the I-5 bridges by the old brewery with the homeless folks.
Typical lib virtue signaling.

For some reason their song Black on MTV unplugged came up on my youtube feed. Darn what a depressing song and voice. No wonder Kurt blew his head off.
That same thought went through my head when I first read the article but although Kurt Cobain was from Seattle he was with the band Nirvana.

LOL... though 20 years ago, I liked the Seattle groove.
I shouldn’t be so hard on the grunge era music. There were a couple of good songs that came out of it but I feel, in general, it’s overrated.
For 90s sounds, I could be picked on for enjoying dream-pop shoe-gazing music, I suppose. Well, we ll have our druthers = and at least the grunge era wasn’t as bad as the 80s.

Yeah that we didnt have to suffer through your crap ass tour in a pathetic attempt to remain relevent. All the really great grunge bands, their lead singers, sadly, committed suicide.....which is why eddie vetter is still alive.
Perfectly said.
If it was 1992 I might care. I’d care more if it was Nirvana or Alice or Soundgarden canceling, though.
Vedder hates Republicans and conservatives. He said so and yep they are overrated. These 90s bands should just die out as it’s just pahetic to wear flannel 30 years later..
I saw soundgarden live back in the 90s. Wasn’t impressed. A week later I saw primus and every song they had everyone was in the mosh pit. I hate sitting at a show . the only time I sat down for a show was probably aerosmith because you can actually bring chicks to watch the band.
Im a child of the 90s and name one popular band in the 90s. I probably saw them live. Except nirvana.
oh, darn
Was never a big Pearl Jam fan..all of their songs sound same & Vedder a bore.
As for the Seattle grunge bands, AIC was the real deal..in my humble opinion. Layne Staleys voice & range..magical.
BTW, if Andrew Wood wouldnt have ODd, thered probably be no Eddie Vedder or Pearl Jam.
Agree, Alice in Chains was the only grunge band I could stomach.
