They don't have to say anything. The evidence that this a major threat is being proven every day. They are of course trying to have people avoid panicking but they are announcing measures tomorrow to compensate people tomorrow for what sounds like mass quarantines.
The DANGER is already worse than all those other things you've listed. This HAS and is overwhelming all efforts to contain it everywhere in the world. This is a problem because it sickens a large percentage of people who end up needing hospital treatment. If it spreads like the flu (and all evidence is that it's more virulent than any flu) then our medical care system is going to be overwhelmed. The CDC says so on their website.

The CDC is more deep state than the CIA, FBI, etc. They have a left-wing agenda. They could be utilizing funds for actual health, and wasting less money.

That’s from “Freedom Works”. Instances of CDC waste are easy to research. Their waste and ridiculous programs, e.g., “Nail Technicians”, makes it evident helping Americans’ life-saving health isn’t where their focus is. Typical of the way all deep state agencies misuse funds.
