Laz, thank you for opening up to us about diabetes. I was diagnosed last week at the VA with type II. I’ve been in the Agent Orange Protocol and the VA has stepped up to help me manage my care. Reading all the relevant comments in this thread, started by you, has really been informative for me. I have booked marked all the postings that are informative from our brothers and sisters here on FR. I’m going to crush this diet thing! My Mom passed at 59 from congestive heart failure brought about because of her diabetes. She was a full blown diabetic on insulin injections daily. Let’s do this together.
