I just assume any packages have been through a giant sorting facility with G-d only knows what from China and jsut assume my packages are hot.
Doesn’t hurt anything.
I just hope my fedex/ups/usps peeps dont’ get this. They’re all really young so if they do they might not even notice it.
Uh, you have not been at a post office if you think that. Lots of over 60s working there, especially rural carriers. Large number of vets retire out of the military at 40 or so, and proceed to work for another 20 to 30 years to draw a second retirement. Believe me they are not healthy people either. Lots of smokers with horrible eating habits due to being under-staffed and running to finish their routes. Subs get run in the ground trying to cover two or more routes a day. Most of the clerks are sleep deprived too, especially the “part-timers” who work the 58 hours a week shifts and never know from one day to the next which shift they will be working.
Sorry, just realized you were talking about your personal delivery people. They are still at risk from exhaustion if the oldies get the virus and end up quarantined or hospitalized. Unfortunately for all of them.
