Continuation of the thread.
No more so than the owners who keep the facilities open.
Executives should have to mingle.
Why are the minimum paid workers endangered for a few bux per hour?
So whats the answer for a mild case? They cant take up a valuable hospital bed. Quarantine camps? Could containment specialist come in and create a negative pressure room with plastic/duct tape and a fan? My son does that about once a week in his line of work, he says its not hard.
Amen. It's a much less stressful way to be.
I think I read that are taking some other additional step with money. Maybe UV light, something, I can’t recall. I think they know this is not the flu.
I’m taking my mom to the dentist tomorrow. One person from this county has died from Wuhan Flu already. I’m definitely scared to go. I don’t care if I get it, but I definitely do not want her to get it at all. This is terrible.
Pence named two labs in his presser, Direct might be another, but he said it so fast, I didn’t quite get it other than they were the two largest. So if Direct is a biggie, then probably. But don’t quote me.
Let’s call it a ‘risk detector test’.
If the business owner isn’t comfortable with the risk associated with mingling with the customers...then morally how can he expose his employees to this risk?
Coronavirus: Foreigners leave N Korea on first commercial flight for weeks

The embassy staff who left had been confined to their compounds for weeks during February and early March.
Flight KOR271 left Pyongyang at 08:40 local time on Monday (23:40 on Sunday) and arrived in Vladivostok at 10:47, said flight tracking site FlightAware.
At least 60 diplomats and embassy staff were thought to be on the flight. It’s not known how or when they will return to their home countries.
The British ambassador to North Korea tweeted early on Monday that he was “sad to say farewell to colleagues from [the] Germany Embassy and French Office”.
Colin Crooks added that other embassies were closing temporarily but that the British embassy would remain open.
nobody was predicting Italy, or Egypt or France or Germany for that matter, much less thinking cruise ships were a weak link
So Far:
Disney Land Hong Kong: CLOSED
Disneyland Shanghai: CLOSED
Disneyland Tokyo: CLOSED
Disneyland Paris: TBD
Disneyland California: TBD
Disney World Orlando: TBD
I'd say, if things get bad enough at any location, Disney will close parks. We just don't know what that point is. I'll bet Disney knows, and we will know better when Paris closes.
That’s exactly my plan.
I bet they will have some stories to tell
Yes, shut it down at least they are still alive to live another day. And yes life for everyone is going to be more challenging whether we want to believe it our not. When the elite stay dying off these greedy executive decisions won’t amount to a hill of beans.
BNP Paribus Open (tennis) cancelled, health safety.
Another smart freeper suggested to use an iron. Probably a woman, as I know none of us guys would have figured that out!
Should hospitals shut down too? Health care workers have been getting infected with COVID-19.

Correct. But in Iran we have the opposite. A mostly young population with a high overall death rate. And reporting over 1,000 infections last day.
Forget about the late test kits/COVID-19 problems...PDJT is going to have to appoint a “TP Czar”...panic buying has set in near FR HQ as of today after yesterday’s announcement of COVID-19 in the Fresno area. Was getting groceries today and the local Von’s/Safeway and WalMart NM TP shelves were decimated. Hate to think what happened at Costco today...(didn’t go there). Not sure why TP is so popular for “panic mode”...would think shelf-stable food would be ahead of TP?
“The mail is trickier.”
I put my mail in the toaster oven on 200 for 10 minutes. I read where the burning point of paper is 400 degrees, and the virus is destroyed at something like 180 degrees for 5 minutes.
I forgot about the little plastic windows in the envelopes - they melted a bit, but no damage to the contents.
Hah! You’re right about that. And I do just happen to have one of those from a about century ago.
