I have plenty of rice and beans but yesterday I went to WalMart where I used to work for some meds and I notice:
No hand soap (the pump kind)
No gloves
No Toilet Paper
Very few rows of canned foods
Very few rows of paper plates, and napkins
No water
Very few packages of frozen foods
If there were other shortages I didn't notice them, talked with a few of my friends that I worked with and they were saying people are picking up more and more everyday...
Because of my heart issues, my doctor informed me today to stay in as much as possible and don't go unless I have to...so us girls are going to be doing lunches at our homes...WalMart shops and delivers foods so we have decided that is the best way to fix this situation...
Yes, I worry about who handles my food...fruits and veggies can be washed by me; canned goods can be wiped down by Clorox wipes and put on the shelves...I have a dishwasher with heat drying and I open at least 2 windows every day all year long for ventilation...
Other than that, what can you do...if your time is up, well it's been fun knowing all of you...

1/ I may be repeating myself, but I want to fight this sense of security that I see outside of the epicenters, as if nothing was going to happen "here". The media in Europe are reassuring, politicians are reassuring, while there's little to be reassured of. #COVID19 #coronavirus— Silvia Stringhini (@silviast9) March 9, 2020
Most of their stuff is US sourced. Best meat, best prices. Employee-owned store.
I noticed no shortages in my supermarket on Mon morning, before complete restocking from weekend. TP isle was full of choices.
Lucky you! 12 whole windows...I envy you. I have 4 windows and a door. I use them as my temp. gauges for when it gets too hot every day.
I am glad to see that I'm not the only one who does the every day thing. *high five*
