Re Running out of toilet paper:
Toilet paper is great to barter with, but don’t panic for your personal-use stockpile. If you have an old phone book lying around, the pages make excellent TP. Also, pages from magazines/old catalogs/obsolete bills and financial records more than ten years old. Look around your property for plants with big leaves. Save junk mail.
This is a great time to go through your files and purge out stuff you no longer need. Just don’t flush the pages! Throw them away in outdoor trash, or if sensitive, bury them..
Think outside the box. People are fixated on TP and paper towels. Look for cocktail napkins at Party stores, etc. Our forebears made it without TP; we can too.
Hint: toothpaste is also great to stockpile and barter with.
