YIKES! is right. The market will tank like a rock tomorrow. I thought we would hear much better news today..
Are the drugs not working? (I don't think that is the case) Do we not have enough of the drugs? Why are the numbers expected to continue up so high, if we now have drugs to combat it, when we did not have the drugs before?
I was expecting some good news, too, gub. My thinking was that this drug, given the great results it seems to have had when used, would be going to every hospitalized person in the country to start. Then prescribed to anyone with symptoms who tests positive. Also given immediately to health care workers, grocery store employees, and anyone with constant exposure, so they don’t get the virus. I don’t understand why they’re planning as if the drugs are not in existence.
They have an announcement of sorts planned for Tuesday, and I’m hoping that they are going to let us know of the great results of the hydroxychloroquine....and a subsequent plan of attack, thereby possibly opening the country up sooner. I am not understanding this at all.
