but even before common core, math was dumbed down. i guess it wasn’t regressing fast enough

Trump can’t get rid of common core, but several States have done so. Our country was the first in so many things, but that was because we had educated people in math and (true) science.
I know other fields are important too, I used to help young ones with music and art. But we are nothing without math and science.
