CNN has some interesting numbers—they claim there have been 1500 tests in the US so far.
The US total positives are about 200 at this point.
That is a 13% positive rate.
We are supposed to ramp up to 10,000 tests a week.
If the percent holds, expect to see 1,300 additional reported US positive cases by the end of next week.
It would take another week or so at that rate to get near Italy’s reported number of 3,000+.
Conclusion: We are two weeks behind Italy.
