The 1.9 to 2.6% sounds like the Spanish Flu numbers. The regular flu is 0.1%.
Apologies for the error: Apparently, according to the CDC, that was the percentage of deaths attributable to pneumonia and influenza for the week ending on Feb. 15th, as published on Feb. 27th.
