Were folks left off the boat before (CV) trouble was known?
Diamond Princess - Japan let everyone go at 14 days if they were negative. So the people who refused to airlift with the rest, got released just a few days later.
Grand Princess - the CV was undiscovered on the previous cruise and wasn’t discovered until after the current cruise was on the way back from Hawaii, best I can understand
(haven’t heard any followup about Westerdam folks)
