You know, I could write a lot of things that are secret here on FR; I could give you no proof they are true precisely because they are secret, but are no less true. I’m sure there are a large number of folks here who could reveal things which most would be terrified if they knew they existed or happened. But they will not because they are secret.
Because some bit of info challenges your credulity, does not create a disservice to anyone. Some of us know a lot about this stuff we cannot speak about. We may write in a vague style because we want you to know to understand something is or did happen, but we can provide no wider details.
There is no fear mongering unless the reader takes it that way - that’s the reader’s problem, not the messenger’s. This sort of info is taking responsibility for the dark things that happen, things which only a few know, but can harm all of us. Its a warning and a notice to look deeper beyond so-called ‘authorities’. You can chose to look deeper or you can chose to listen to your ‘betters’ your ‘authorities’. But do not shoot the messengers!

But you did bring up credulity - Let’s see what “wikipedia” says they definition of credulity:

Expect questions if information is provided in a vague manner, or without attribution, or from certain sources, etc.
I am sorry if asking questions for links, other info, etc. makes some people uncomfortable, etc. That’s the way it is. Everyone being more informed is better for FR in particular.

They are trolling trying to prevent panic. One even clearly stated that.
