CNN has some interesting numbers—they claim there have been 1500 tests in the US so far.
The US total positives are about 200 at this point.
That is a 13% positive rate.
We are supposed to ramp up to 10,000 tests a week.
If the percent holds, expect to see 1,300 additional reported US positive cases by the end of next week.
It would take another week or so at that rate to get near Italy’s reported number of 3,000+.
Conclusion: We are two weeks behind Italy.
Let’s watch and see.
Fauci is claiming 75,000 tests can be done next week. We will wait and see...that would cause panic imho...at 13% that would be reporting 9,750 cases by the end of next week.
How bad do you think this is going to get... any guesses?

I hope we’re doing something similar.
Italy is a very physical place. Trump doesn’t even shake hands, for example, but the politicians there hug people.
Too many unknowns to make accurate predictions. It looks like every country is going to play out completely different. Seems like no two countries experience the exact same circumstances. This appears to be related to response tactics, vectoring methods and perhaps Corona strain distribution. We may even have some of our cities devastated and some not so bad. Will be a good test of leadership skills. But the main complications will be supply lines, frontliner devastation and international conflicts.
Children, with pneumonia, from flu? 2 in the same class? And another in ICU?

Like for example England. Flybe airlines has ceased operation due to Corona virus. That was quick. Hopefully their healthcare system lasts longer. Latest plan is for infected to stay in their home. Lol.
