Many of our elderly live in single family homes and have their own transportation.
It is easier for them to safeguard themselves than urban Italian elderly.
This would be the time for the kids and grandkids of the elderly to step up and drive them where they need to go!! I am caring for my 90 yr. old mom right now, since she moved into my home I have had to be VERY CAREFUL not to bring anything home that she could catch!! My home is kept absolutely immaculate I have always been wiping counter tops with a bleach mixture when I do grocery shopping EVERYTHING is washed before putting it away!! This has been my life for 5 years now HOWEVER even a common cold can be dangerous for someone 90, I thank God everyday that I have not been sick since she moved in but I have also been very careful to not become ill for her sake!!! My mom is a very healthy 90 year old BUT anything could change that!!!
Hadn't thought of that. How do they differ from our elderly?
