Please don't misunderstand my position vs. that of my employer.

I think there's a complete over-reaction driven by fear mongering ginned up by the "news media" .....

I read today that within three days of actual work, our own NIH developed a potential vaccine that's going into Phase I trials very quickly.

That news is on the White House's website and is being largely overlooked because of "Super Thursday."

I don't buy into the media hype over this disease. The "news media" is all about keeping eyes on their cable network channels and websites. I hopped off the news media hype-from-one-crisis-to-the-next to keep eyes on them a long time ago.

Google today canceled its upcoming I/O developer conference that was set to take place on May 12 to May 14 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak sweeping the United States. It’s probably going to rip through the tech companies in King County. Surprised it already hasn’t. First the H1B Communist Chinese then the H1B Indians.
