This is a long and very thought provoking article focusing on the economic prospects related to coronavirus:
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/its-getting-ugly-what-can-we-really-do-about-covid-19
The article’s comments about “price discovery” are very important but not well explained.
If government takes strong new intervention in the economy it will cause complex negative effects that may not be apparent at first glance, and policy makers will either not know or not care about them.
By failing to get ahead of this virus, government is limiting its options on the economic side and may be forced to take draconian measures to “save the economy”.
The short term and the long term are in direct conflict imho.
I could rant on this topic for a long time... :-)
I cant go to that site.
They have ads between every paragraph, and sometimes in the middle of sentences!
